In 2001, Mike and his wife Helen moved their family to the North Georgia Mountains to establish the Artcart Gallery on Dahlonega's historic square.

Not long after, Artcart grew into a shared artists' space, home to a few artists of various disciplines as well as a wine tasting bar, and is now known as The Bleu Gallery.  The Bleu Gallery is on the first floor of the Hall House building at 90 Public Square North.

Along with his art, Mike runs a small hotel in the top floors of the building, making The Hall House building an "all-in-one" destination for those wanting a fun weekend in Dahlonega. Learn more about the Hall House Hotel at www.hallhousehotel.com. Mike also has a sister location, Old Storehouse Inn, about two blocks away over-looking Hancock Park. Mike enjoys portrait painting, as well as other commissions, and paintings of historic Dahlonega. An avid golfer, Mike is especially interested in golf course landscapes and golf art of all kinds.
